When you contact me, I will discuss your needs and assess the best way to get them met. Once we have consulted I will give you my best estimate for labor and materials and after you have agreed to the estimate, I may request a down payment depending on scope.
I work hard to give you a good labor estimate and as long as we don’t find unknown problems I work to honor those estimates. The market for lumber, and many building materials is fluctuating greatly due to short supply right now so your costs may also rise or fall.
Should either labor or materials change more than 10% I will make sure you understand the changes. I never want you to be surprised.
