Todd is very smart and good at grasping the problem and coming up with a solution. I hired him to ”fix all the important things that are wrong with my daughter’s house“ after I bought the house for her ”as is”, and I had no clue what some of the older features even were much less how they worked (generator, water boiler based heating system, basement sump pumps, etc). He immediately understood what needed doing, suggested other people where the projects were too big or needed a specialist, and did an excellent job of fixing things and replacing things efficiently. Installed a doggie door and replaced broken boards on the porch, repaired electrical and plumbing and ceiling fans among several other things. His wife was very helpful with scheduling, and billing/payment was easy (and I think reasonable) online. My daughter was thrilled. Recommend highly.

I am grew up in an 1890 Victorian, so I learned how to fix non-standard things. My first job was in a hardware store and lumberyard. I have been on construction crews. I have installed furniture. I have a degree in landscape architecture. I have done planning—both for cities and offices. So in addition to repairing what is broken, I have the design chops to make sure it looks great. I will help you solve your common, and even uncommon problems, which as a homeowner you will sometimes face. View all posts by handydude
